Group: Forum Members Posts: 14, Visits: 56	Hello from Denmark. When zooming in from 100K 1nm to 50k the distance indicator rightly doubles, but the readout says 1800 m Should that not be 0,5 nm or 920 m ? Zooming out, the same thing happens at 250K the distance says 4 nm ??

Group: Forum Members Posts: 8K, Visits: 9.1K	The distance indicator has to fit onscreen. Obviously, it couldn't show 10nm when you're at 5k scale (for example). Its only purpose is to show you how long a given distance is on the map.

Group: Forum Members Posts: 14, Visits: 56	Hi Tim Thanks for your promt reply, I tried to describe that when zooming from 100000 resolution to 50000 the distance goes from 1nm to 1800 meters which is almost the same (1nm equal 1852 meters) Sorry to be unclear, should it not be 1/2 NM or abt 90p0 m ? ( or am i misunderstanding the layout ? Brg Peter

Ahh. now it makes sense, I had overlooked, that when you change to meters from 1nm to 1800m the distance indicator doubles, sorry i missed that very important bit. Clever, thanks for your assistance.
