Hi Tim,

When attempting to add a user waypoint the 'ok' button keeps greying itself out - I've tried matching the co-ordinate foramt etc, are there some rules I'm missing here?

Thanks,

Ian

If you show us a screenshot of the form complete with grayed out OK button, I will tell you what's wrong.

Hi Tim,

I think it's related to the format of the waypoint co-ordinate - can you tell me the N.... W (or E).... format needed to enter the place from google maps as:

53.602198,-1.194692 (Burghwallis near Doncaster)

Thanks,

Ian

Hi Ian,

Clicking on "Waypoints" then "Add" brings up the new window and the format should be as per that shown next to the "Position" box which on mine shows Nddmmss Wdddmmss with the cardinal points as a capital. You can also add a decimal to the seconds if your navigation is that good. Going to "Setup" gives you the option of dropping seconds all together under the "Change units..." tab. You also need to have something in the "Name" box.

My guess for the Lat/Long of Burghwallis is N533604 W0011140.

Hope that helps.
