There is currently a NOTAM advising Leeds approach frequency is 133.125 and not 125.575.

While this is shown in the NOTAM window, its not displayed via the pink cross hatching on the map.

Its a critical NOTAM and could catch you out. 2 Qs:

1. Is there a setting I have missed that is causing no map display?
2. If I flew the route, would I be alerted to the changed frequency?

The NOTAM narrow route brief is the definitive place to read all NOTAM relevant to your route. Some NOTAM are unsuitable for graphical display. I suspect the one in question is not being mapped because its radius is 40nm. You can include such large NOTAM if you like by changing the filter.

Been following along with SkyDemon development and would just like to ask what happened to the function of selecting a pink notam to display the info? Is it me or has this been completely done away with in favour of just a list (often a long list) of notams in the route brief? There's now no info displayed when a particular pink notam is clicked or moused over.



If so, IMHO it's a step backwards. The earlier way of displaying a Notam - by selecting the pink circle and having the info pop up - was a very much clearer way to do things. A long list in the route brief is all very well but it really needs at least the function of clicking on a particular pink spot to have it scroll to and/or highlight the relevant info in the briefing box.

My system didn't pick up any Notam for the Goodwood Festival of Speed this past weekend.

I am trying to check my notam filters but can't find them.

Do you know why that event might have been missed?

Could be the date and time filters being applied, you should also check your PC's date and time to make sure they're set correctly.

If possible, try and report such things to us while the event is still taking place so that we're able to ascertain when you have managed to correct whatever filter or other problem is preventing the NOTAM from showing for you. The NOTAM in question was definitely displayed in SkyDemon during the event.

Hmmm... must be doing something wrong then! Should all pink notam circles have a popup when hovered over? For me some do and some don't.

All airspace, including NOTAM, will show a tooltip when you move the mouse over it. The only time this wouldn't happen would be when there is so much information to display that it won't fit on the screen. In this case, you'll just have to read the information in the narrow route brief.

That's what I thought. I was getting some weird results so I reinstalled, updated charts and low and behold it's back to normal. Thanks for taking the time to spell it out!
