In Air Nav Pro, there is a setting-screen to chose between
- manually
- all airports on planned route
- departure/arrival airport on route
- nearest airport at current position
which I found a very convenient solution

...and to make it pefect (in my humble opinion) , in cases 2 and 3 SD will check if the plates are available and will otherwise download them automatically👌

Can anyone tell me what special information I should look for on the georeferenced plate?

I have always just tapped the red x and therefore maybe have missed the idea with georeferenced plates.

Hi Martin, georeferenced means SD shows your actual location on the chart in flight. rgds. Paul

I can confirm there is now an option to prevent the automatic display of georeferenced plates, as of the forthcoming version.
