an odd one this.

On both my iphone and windows PC, the UK charts will not download. Other countries for example, France and Spain load just fine but not the UK, the screen just sits there with an empty progress bar.

if I switch my iphone to use 4G instead of wireless (and so the home router and broadband). the chart loads ok.

Clearly with both my PC and iphone affected, I thought it must be my home router or Broadband  provider blocking something - but then I couldn't understand why the other countries work just fine.

same issue on my IPAD too - 4g fine - home broad band  - nothing.
Are you charts not held on the same servers or something ?

Update.

I reset my router to factory settings. Made no difference. Uk charts still would not load.

Set up a VPN thus hiding traffic request destination from my isp ( plusnet) and hey presto uk charts now load. So why on earth would my isp block where ever your app tries to get its uk chart data and why are other countries charts working fine?

I have no idea. There's nothing special about our UK chart compared to other charts, they all come from exactly the same place. They're just files.

More testing.
VPN off. My routers firewall off. - UK charts now load so perhaps not an ISP issue.
Turn the router firewall back on (in default settings - I have no local firewall rules or non standard ports blocked or keyword/url/IP address blocking etc) , UK chart fails to load ...yet other countries are just fine.
Well, not a show stopper as I can get around the problem - but weird.
