When I have a flight and route planned from the UK to France the GAR section always reverses this and says the route is France to the UK. Which it is not.

This suggest that to me that it is not possible to submit a GAR from the UK to France. Am I correct.‌?

For UK to France/Belgium is no GAR needed

You have to send an immigration report

For example see website Calais

GAR is a UK requirement for INBOUND flights to UK only. No need (or requirement) to submit for OUTBOUND flights.
A‌s the previous poster said, you need to use/follow your French destinanation's inbound notification requirements.

112Rockwell, SkyDemon is not reversing your route. If you read what SkyDemon is saying carefully, you'll see that because you've planned an outbound flight to France, SkyDemon is offering you the opportunity to file a GAR for your return flight.

A‌‌ GAR is not required for a flight outbound from the UK to France, as others have pointed out.
