Hi there,
t‌he new LANTA-regions (low altitude night training areas) have been introduced in Germany.
Yesterday, I was flying around Regensburg in the afternoon. Several times during the flight a warning popped up
t‌hat I was violating ED-R 164 (huge area starting at 2500 AGL) although its only active from SS+30 to 22:00.

I‌ understand, that you can not provide the servic to update active times of ED-Rs.
‌But, it would be nice if the pilot is able to manually enter active times of Restricted/Dangerous areas according to AIP manually on his own responsibilty in order to reduce false allerts.

SW-S‌uggestion:‌
-‌menu item to  specify active hours of Restricted / dangerous areas
-‌ enter area identifier and active time  periode
-‌checkbox activate/decativate the rule
-if checkbox is activated :
‌  --during flight planning you get a warning to veryfy the active hours
‌ --during flight, SD only gives an intrusion warning if you approach a restricted  area and the area is active according to the pilots definition

In the next version of SkyDemon we are introducing night-only airspace, which will only be displayed (and warned about) if the pilot specifically asks for night-only airspace to be enabled. The new LANTA regions will all be encoded like that, so they'll all disappear on your charts (and from warnings) unless you've told the software you want them.
