Hi,

S‌kydemon seems to ‌‌‌take the cruise fuel burn on the selected profile for calculating the amount of fuel required for your holding time and travel to an alternate. Could I please suggest the ability to use a different value. In reality I would throttle back, reduce speed and have a much lower fuel usage. As a result it always over calculates the amount of fuel required for a trip.

M‌any thanks,
G‌eorge‌‌‌

SkyDemon uses the most fuel efficient cruise profile when calculating holding fuel consumption.

Many thanks, yes got that working for the holding with another profile. Doesn't seem to work for the Alternate; possibility to see a choice or the same logic here?

I think you can specify any cruise profile you want for the Alternate leg. That's certainly the case for the forthcoming 3.9.2 version.

I think you can specify any cruise profile you want for the Alternate leg.

A source of confusion maybe:
‌on 3.9.1, you can double click (PC) or long hold (iDevice) a normal leg and adjust its altitude and power setting.
‌Y‌ou cannot however double-click the dashed line to the alternate. The only way (I find) is to double click said leg in the PLOG. Before looking specifically for it I did not even know of this method, I had always clicked on the magenta line.
