The french SIA have done a great job producing the visual approach charts for all aerodromes in France. When preparing a NAV I like to have an up-to-date copy of the charts in my flight bag just in case technology fails me.

Would it be possible  to include the French VAC charts in the briefing pack, it would make it much simpler to print out rather than having to open each individually and print them through Adobe.

Thanks!‌‌

In these cases I simply add the pages to the briefing package .PDF for additional information, which may be the best way for Skydemon to avoid any discussion on what they are allowed to do.

We do not intend to package up other peoples' documents into our briefing pack. Quite aside from the copyright issues there are issues around reformatting the pages to fit within the user's selected output size. Briefing pack was always supposed to be pure SkyDemon output, and the third-party documents are of course printable on their own.

SD already provides access to AIP pages from within the application. From a copyright point of view, what would the difference be if they were included in the briefing pack?

I don't see this as a copyright issue. It is reformatting information that the user has provided. If the user has infringed the copyright then the problem is his, not SD's.
