Hi,
‌It seams that there are problems witch entering geographical coordinates in SD.

iPad version:

example 1:
choose Setup->Change Units->Position: Degrees, Minutes
then long tap somewhere at the map and you will receive What’s Here? window. At the top choose „Create User Waypoint Here”. Hide keyboard. Touch blue text: „Touch here to type instead”. In the „Position” field you will see geographical position of that point, for example: N5242,04 E02033,91
Below is hint text with example: „Formats: N5101,92 W00221,90, N510155 W0022154”
All is clear so far, hint text shows 2 positions: in degrees and minutes with decimal point and degrees, minutes an seconds. And the input field is automatically filled with coordinates in degrees, minutes with decimal point format .

But if I try to touch the input field (not changing anything inside) and then hide the keyboard, than input field will become red and „Save” button in the upper left will be in the disabled state. It is possible to correct the format of the position by changing commas to points characters in input line. So it seems to be a problem with localization of the SD.

example 2: (simillar problem)
choose Setup->Change Units->Position: Degrees, Minutes, Seconds
proceed same as above and in the input line (with coordinates) if you add fraction of the seconds you need to use point instead comma.

example 3: (most important)
choose Setup->Change Units->Position: Degrees
then long tap somewhere at the map and you will receive What’s Here? window. At the top you will see „Create User Waypoint Here” and just above it, coordinates will be displayed in degrees with decimal point format, for example:
52,714;20,568
First, there is inconsistency in the format comparing with hint text described above”: no N, S, E or W letter and semicolon instead of space between values. Of course still the problem with commas and points characters.

But bigger problem is the following:
choose „Create User Waypoint Here”. Hide keyboard. Touch blue text: „Touch here to type instead”. In the „Position” field you will see coordinates in degrees with decimal point, for example: 52,714;20,568
If I try to touch the input field (not changing anything inside) and then hide the keyboard, than input field will become red and „Save” button in the upper left will be in disabled state. At this time I AM NOT ABLE TO INPUT CORRECT COORDINATES IN THE FORMAT OF DEGREES WITH DECIMAL POINT. Changing commas to point not working and adding missing letters and replacing semicolon with space also do not work.

This is the most frustrating because degrees with decimal format is widely used over the Internet (Google, Apple,..) and it could be very helpful to be able to add positions in this format.

best regards,
Jan

I think there is more than one issue here, but all probably traced back to your regional settings on your device. Can I please ask you to contact our customer support with this issue but give them the additional information they'll need to look into it, which is sufficient settings for us to reproduce the problem on an English device. Thanks!
