I am running TRX-2000 (no longer available, the TRX-1500 has the same functionality but no display) in combination with Air Connect and SD and it works fine. I had interruptions as well but since I reduced the horizontal and vertical limits for the respective Port (in my case Port 2 of the TRX) to 10.000m and 1.200m and for some other ports it works just fine.

I am running a PowerFlarm with AirConnect WiFi with a HUAWEI MediaPad 3 with SD in my aircraft. Basically the system works fine and the traffic is displayed quite good on SD. The new traffic radar in the last version of SD was a great step forward. Unlikely I have sometimes interruptions of the WiFi connection and I still do not have a solution for it. Signal strength is good but SD interrupts the data connection.
Maybe it is a defect of the AirConnect device. Actual I am in touch with the AirStore support about that.

We are considering installing the PowerFlarm Core unit within our Piper Archer. We understand that we will require external aerials, an Air Connect WiFi signal for pairing with SkyDemon and the Minor Change Approval from Piper.

I would be very interested in talking with anyone who has installed this equipment to hear of their experiences both good and not so good.
