G Group: Forum Members Posts: 2, Visits: 0	A couple newbie questions. I have a non SIM card iPad mini. Will I require a external Bluetooth gps to navigate with SkyDemon ? And am I correct in assuming that it's not possible to navigate with a light version ?

Group: Forum Members Posts: 8.1K, Visits: 9.3K	SkyDemon Light is a UK-only tool which does very simple route planning and NOTAM briefing. It has no other SkyDemon features whatsoever, and certainly does not allow navigation.

I Group: Forum Members Posts: 34, Visits: 1	Gnasher - in reply to your second question, unless your iPad is a cellular (3G / 4G) version, it will not have a built in GPS so yes, you would need an external one. Beware that the latest iOS software has had problems with holding the Bluetooth connection to external GPS's - see separate thread about this.
