Newbie on the forum but not to the product which I've used for 3 years and operate daily. Would like the opportunity to run SD on an iPad - but, and it's a big but - have not yet found a way to operate an iPad whilst wearing the required gloves. Being an emergency services helicopter pilot,it's either the leather/nomex in the summer or leather with silk inners in the winter. The only tablet that I found that works all the time with gloves is the (sadly no longer available) Galaxy Tab S 8.4. Even so, I have to refuse to update to a higher version of Android than Lollipop as the screen sensitivity setting was removed in newer versions which would make it un-useable with gloves. The battery/tablet will not last forever so, anybody else managed to overcome the problem? Using "Non fire retardant" gloves is not an option and neither is cutting holes in the finger tips of the gloves or "painting" them with "AnyGlove". Taking gloves on and off in flight isn't practical. Anyone??
