Latest maps do seem quite a lot slower to redraw but perhaps thats because I am playing more .. may not be an issue in flight.
While I am on, is it possible to make the plane the top "layer" so that when it straddles a zone boundary (say) its not bisected!
Cheers

I don't believe the other points you mentioned are anything that's changed in 2.0; in fact the mobile software hardly changed at all in this release. You may occasionally see very narrow gaps between terrain tiles after the map has been rotated; this is normal. The introduction of woodland areas and rivers may make map redraw slightly slower. We'll update our mapping engine later this year so that caching is used to make updates much faster.
Agree re zoom in/out to see label.
Re chart, no its whole tiles where terrain shading is missing .. other features such as roads, woods, railways, airpsace are all there. Also zooming out can reval the terrain but you have to go out quite a way and lose the point of it.
My sense is that you have to scroll quite a way away before meeting a blank tile re terrain shading. Does not happen on PC but the memory is so much larger (4GB RAM). Suspect that in flight its no problem as adjacent tiles gradually come up as u fly.
All the same some effort may be justified .. I can get all 3 devices to do it.
In fact it's safe to delete the entire TerrainCache folder if you want the terrain tiles recreated.
OK thanks. Will have a look. Perhaps it was in process of creating & I was too impatient!!
