As per subject title, there do not appear to be any of the standard editing tools available when using an i-pad.  In fact I can't see how one can actually delete the title of a plan let alone edit it!  Once you highlight the plan title, the i-pad goes straight into displaying the saved plan.

As with most such items on an iPad, swipe your finger to the left to reveal a Delete button. You can't edit the names in-place, but you can of course load and re-save with a different name.
