SD 3.6.3 on Android Galaxy S3 smartphone in planning mode

I was in Belgium a few days ago and for my return to UK had my first route (in Belgium) selected. I checked the route TAF and METAR reports without difficulty.
I then wanted to get an overview of wx conditions in UK so selected the "get weather for chart" feature and selected UK. That presented the colour dot symbols for the UK.

How do I return back to the map location that depicts the start of my planned flight, other than continuous swiping of my screen? I can't find a "back button" and pressing the "map scale" button at the bottom left just takes me to a random location, but at my default map scale (1:500,000).

I had to go and reload my route. I have checked the manual but couldn't see anything obvious mentioned.

You could double-tap at the beginning of Virtual Radar (the start of your route), or press the Home button, or use the Find function to go to a waypoint of your choice.

I had tried the virtual radar but didn't double-tap. Works well now I am double-tapping...
FYI, pressing on the Home button just positions the map to my home airfield.
