I think this might be a usefull feature when planning. If the chart on the map seems unclear you can directly see in the virtuel radar the section of the place which was unclear. I will provide you a better view of the stacked airspaces

Are you aware of the feature whereby you can get an instant virtual radar snapshot of a leg between any two points by holding two fingers (iOS) or using the What's Here menu to bring up the map ruler?

This is as an aside; if enough people want us to make a feature to scroll the virtual radar to a particular route leg we will of course do it.

I came here as as result of my posting from today.

As others, I would love to see the vertical Situation for a certain Location or a leg.

It could work that a user marks a leg and chooses something like "zoom map for this leg and also Show this leg in virtual Radar".
Or: tap Long on a Location on map. SD already asks "What's here" and lists the airspaces around. Therefore virtual radr could giv me an Impression of airspaces and also of the Terrain at this location

Wouldn't that be a useful feature? I frequently find myself wanting to see the vertical profile for a certain route segment that I plan on the chart.

No, no such feature exists.

Double-clicking on the virtual radar brings up the corresponding location on the map.

Is the opposite also possible, showing the location in the virtual radar that corresponds to a certain location along the route?
