I believe there is a PilotAware forum where you can report problems with their device or software.

It seems to be the PilotAwareAndroid app (I incorrectly called it AndroidCollisionAware earlier) that needs to have a GPS lock on the tablet before starting.
The issue doesn't happen if the PilotAware unit has a GPS dongle instead of using the tablet GPS.

I've no idea. This is unlikely to be a SkyDemon issue.

Skydemon 3.4.2.20312, Nexus 7 2013, PilotAware 20151114

Hi, when I'm flying using a PilotAware connected via the FLARM settings using the Nexus GPS, if I connect SD and 'Go Flying' before the Nexus has a GPS lock, Skydemon reports 'Seeking GPS Satellites', it doesn't update after the tablet acquires a satellite lock. I have to close the AndroidCollisionAware app and restart it to get Skydemon to show my aircraft on the map.

Is this by design?
