Hello SD team.

I set a new aircraft with an additional tank with a center of gravity (CoG) different from the main one.
1) When I plan a route, it seems normal to not obtain the CoGs at takeoff and landing, but I have not seen anything in the user guide explaining it. Could you please explain that it the next version of the user manual ?

2) Is it possible to obtain the CoGs at takeoff and landing when only one tank contains fuel ?

We cannot calculate takeoff and landing w&b because we do not know from which tank you will be taking fuel. I will ask my colleague to review whether it's worth pointing this out in the manual.

For the pioint 2 "Is it possible to obtain the CoGs at takeoff and landing when only one tank contains fuel ?", you can consider that I take the fuel where it is (in only one tank), otherwise you can suggest me an emergency landing field.
It might be an improvement for further versions.
For instance, I do not suggest the possibility to define rules for the fuel usage, which could be more difficult to develop.

You're right, we could do that, though it would be a complication to our existing w&b code to make such checks. As we do not touch that code lightly, we would want to see other users who would benefit from that specific change.

Would anyone else be interested in this? That is, the ability for SkyDemon to detect a second fuel tank without any fuel in it, and still perform w&b calculations to derive takeoff and landing configurations?

I vote for keeping it simple. -- Chris.
