I think minor roads could be a nice addon (for those who have a better display), but they should appear at a scale like 1:250.000 or 1:125.000 and in a way they aren't so "invasive". In a 5" display things are crowded... ;-)

If you don't want to see roads, I'm afraid the best suggestion is to turn them off completely. Our charts do get more sophisticated over time and unfortunately the Mobile MD does not. I will look to see if it's easy for us to simply remove secondary roads from it, though, as it did not originally have them (as you correctly point out).

It is correct that the MD software bundled with 3.4.1 is 3.4.0. There were no changes to it.

I did this:

1. deleted all .skydata from the Mobile Device
2. deleted all .DEM from the Mobile Device
3. deleted all Cache sub-folder in the Mobile Device
4. deleted all that datas from the Flight Planning on the PC

Once Flight Planning was restarted I download countries' files again, then I synchronized the Mobile Device.
The first time I turned on the MD it took a lot to start up, but the second time it took 2' 40"... so I think it's a good time.
I'll continue monitoring its behaviour while adding and updating datas.

Now remain roads feature problem... they start appearing just from the zoom level I'm comfortable with. If it's not possible to make them selectable, it should be sufficient they were a little thinner and with a more fair colour.

With last updates I've noticed that something has changed in map features:
1.Rivers has a more natural trend (much less sharp)
2. Now there's a multitude of roads! It seems that you put in all the road web!

All nice things, but I have SD Mobile Device and when I updated the Flight Planning software and synced with the device I noticed this:
1. first of all as since v.3.2.0 an over all slowdown, but this last 3.4.0 got things worse
2. in the device the software version report 3.4.0 while the planning one 3.4.1
3. all that multitude of roads make things confusing on the device. Is there a way to see only major roads, like before the update?
4. terrain under map features is rendered much later.

I think that all this improvements are deleterius for the SD Mobile Device. You should keep a software version lighter for your device.
