Hi,

On the Denmark chart I can't get any frequencies for the TMAs. If I push and hold on a TMA and bring up the "What's Here" information, all I get for Radio is simply "EKxx APP" without the actual frequency.

This is probably also why the frequencies are missing from the Pilot Log. Example: I create a route from EKSB direct to EKSV at 3000 ft. The route goes through "Skrydstrup TMA" (class D), "Billund TMA" (class C) and "Karup TMA" (class D). But when I open the Pilot Log none of TMAs are listed in the frequencies section.

The frequencies can naturally be found on the downloadable visual approach charts, but I did expect them to be easily available in the Pilot Log and What's Here info.

Can this be fixed? (or did I do anything wrong?)

We will look into this. The issue is arising because AIP Denmark describes a certain frequency for the airspace (namely the APP frequency at the airfield concerned) but actually in the airfield's entry in the AIP, there is no APP frequency there. We will liaise with AIS Denmark and hopefully be able to solve this in next week's chart update.

Sounds great Tim, thanks.

Maybe this one is related:

A few relatively large local ATS areas (LTA) exist in Denmark. From GND to 3500 ft the LTAs are class G, from 3500 ft to FL65 or FL125 they are class E. ATS for the LTAs (both class G and E) is provided by the local approach-unit. For the LTAs in class E "What's Here" shows Radio as "EKxx APP". The class G LTAs seems to be missing altogether from the map. Feature or bug?

The lack of radio information is the same problem as for the TMAs.

We do not generally depict class G areas on our charts, as everything outside of classes A-F is considered to be class G. If lots of Danish people think we should separately include the class G portions of the LTAs then we would happily add them, though.

Thanks for the information Tim.

Personally I would like to see the class G part of the LTAs on the map (maybe I'm alone on this). On the official Denmark VFR map the LTAs are depicted as going all the way from GND to FL65 (or FL125) simply ignoring the (insignificant?) change from class G to E at 3500 ft. It would be nice if Skydemon was aligned with the official map to avoid confusion.

Aeronautical Chart - ICAO - Denmark 1:500 000 (NB: large file 26MB)

At the very least it would be convenient to get the LTA frequencies to appear in the Pilot Log even if the route in the LTA is below 3500 ft (in class G airspace).

I am also from Denmark, and see this issue.

When flying with “Copenhagen information” from east to west, then they will hand you over to local ATS area /LTA when approaching the LTA´s.
Sometimes they give you the frequency, other times just saying to switch over to approach.

I know that the pilot in command should be prepared for this and have the correct frequency written down, but I think that this should also be displayed in the SkyDemon.

As it is now you have to press and hold the airfield that are in charge of the LTA and “find plates” and look at the Aerodrome Chart for the correct approach frequency. I know that you could also always ask “Copenhagen information” for the frequency, but still it should be available in Skydemon in some other easy way Wink

Just a quick follow-up:

With the latest map update all the APP frequencies now seem to be defined, and the LTAs have been aligned with the official map such that they start from GND.

You simply fixed everything I asked for. Thanks, SkyDemon team! :-)
