Just had the 'patch Tuesday' updates for Win 10, and afterwards I could no longer update charts ("Communication error during operation.....") Strangely it managed to connect to tell me there are updates available though!
Updating plates just hung too
My Win 7 desktop had no problem (this and the W10 laptop are my two Windoze machines)

There was a message (on the W10 laptop) in the log along the lines of 'this device no longer logged in' so did the logout and login again which seems to have fixed it

I had an issue viewing airfield information - giving me an error around no printers installed (but I wasn't planning to print...).
I installed a printer, still didn't work.
I then made my installed printer the default printer.  Airfields now work normally.
I wonder whether the issue is with the pre-installed pseudo printers that come with Win 10 (essentially allowing print to XPS format).

I have upgraded to Windows 10 on my 'backup' desktop to see what it is like and now cannot use Sky Demon. It loads but when I click the 'Back to Map' button, it vanishes.I can see the Sky Demon Plan map screen when I use Alt & Shift to scroll between active applications, but cannot get the Sky Demon window to appear on any of my Windows desktops. So far, other applications work just fine.

Update: have discovered how to maximise the Sky Demon screen from the toolbar...and I can now see the map screen as expected. Needed a right click on the screen image and select 'maximise'. There is no 'maximise' option when you use Alt & shift though.

I have just updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Everything seemed ok until I ran Skydemon. I get the following error message...

*UPDATE: I resolved this by running the windows system file checker under an Administrator command prompt (sfc /scannow)

I assumed the original question was about our full Windows version of SkyDemon (Plan), not about the web-based versions.

I have found an issue, and a solution at the same time.  Works for SD Light, at least.  See my post in SD Light forum, but essentially you should use Chrome instead of the new browser 'Edge' which Win 10 introduces.  Once you are there, Win 10 seems to have no impact and SD Light is as brilliant as ever.
