Afternoon, one of our task specialists is having issues getting his GPS receiver to communicate with SkyDemon.
It registers the presence of anything up to 9 satellites at any given time, and typically provides altitude information to SkyDemon, which is displayed, however, it does not provide any position fix that SkyDemon appears to be able to use. Here is the message from the operator:

Hello
I am having trouble getting our third party GPS to work properly with SkyDemon.
It half works in that it will tell you the number of satellites it has found and read of the altitude which agrees with the aircraft.
It won't however make any of the other functions work or display the aircraft position.
The GPS is a Novatel flexpak6 with a baud rate of 115200 and I am using Com port 2. There does not appear to be any other setting options that can be tailored to a specific GPS receiver.
Any pointers would be gratefully received

He has tried, exhaustively, to use SkyDemon's tech support, but to no avail, so anything other users may have encountered might shed some light and get it working (without us having to invest in an alternative GPS receiver!)

I don't suppose you can paste a log of the actual output from the GPS receiver? Perhaps it isn't sending the GPRMC sentence which actually gives position.
