Could be a Friday 13th thing but tried to run Skydemon 3.2 and update to 3.2.1 today and Avast Antivius 2015.10 immediately quarantined the suite of programmes. I see you have changed the update process, so no uninstalling first, but I had to revert to the old method and disable Avast to restore things to normal.

I too suffered a similar problem with my PC. Skydemon 3.2.0 refused to run.  Skydemon 3.2.1 failed to download.  I switched off AVAST and then got skydemon 3.2.1 to download.  I then switched on AVAST protection again and open the Virus Chest.  Skydemon.exe was in the virus chest so I told AVAST to restore it and add it to the Exceptions List.  Hopefully this will cure the problem.

We've alerted Avast who have confirmed the defect (false positive) will be fixed in their next update.

Thanks Tim - added to our False Positive reports should carry weight with Avast.
Pete - That's a bit drastic - Avast far better than AVG on my machines.
