I decided to swing over to SD from another product - not only but also because I read in the SD description about to be able to "...make a textbook approach or navigate your way through a confusing System of taxiways once landed.". So I also bought a subsription for the German AIP and indeed I found the georeferenced Approach and Arrival plates. But I have not seen one georeferenced Aerodrome Chart yet.
Am I doing something wrong?
If not: when can we expect to receive such charts - at least for the bigger airports with more complicated taxiway systems?

Aerodrome charts from the DFS VFR AIP are not currently georeferenced within SkyDemon. We are not currently provided with the data we need to make it practical. Availability of georeferenced aerodrome charts are very much a country-by-country thing as the quality and format of charts varies a great deal.

I will ask DFS again whether they can supply us with the necessary data.

Nevertheless there are obviously other companies receiving this information - so is it a question of money or does SD just require a different type/format of data which is not available from DFS?

We shall see, when DFS reply to my enquiry. I suspect they are all on holiday until sometime in January though.

You are probably right with the holiday. Most people are back at work on the 5th I think.
Let's see what happens thereafter...

Sadly not. I did chase them a couple of weeks ago and they promised a reply, but nothing yet.

at the AERO fair I had a DFS ground chart for EDNY available (georeferenced!), which came up automatically during my taxi.
I really liked that feature.

Sadly, on the very same day when I came home an update replaced the georeferenced chart with the regular one.

So, if this was some kind of a public beta test: thumbs-up, it worked great... and would really like to see it integrated for as many aerodromes as possible :-) Great work!!!

Yes, I'm happy to say we now have a roadmap to make these available. I can't share a timescale yet but I am hoping to have them in the next few months.
