Yes, thanks. I've made a note to address this.

Sorry. I will try to be clear.

Around larger airports, there are abutting airpsaces that have different height restrictions.

If you get appropriate clearance from say Doncaster at 3000', that will inlcude all the airspace around Doncaster.

But you can come in at <1500' and then you are only worried about the airspace that starts further in at ground level.

My point was that if you have permission to cross at 3000' then its effectively all 1 airpsace and you dont need alerts and entry/exit messages as you approach/cross the 2d boundaries.

Any clearer?

David

I'm not quite clear on the issue being presented here. Is the issue that you were given alerts telling you about entering an unlabelled piece of airspace "" or that you were given alerts when transitioning from one piece of airspace to another, when those pieces of airspace have the same name? Either way an improvement needs to be made, clearly, but it would be nice to be clear Smile

Flew through Doncaster airspace yesterday and every time I traversed a 2d boundary it told me I had exited """ and entered """. Due to its 3d awareness I wd ahve expected it to tell me on entering a 3D space and tell me on exiting it. Since I entered (with permission of course!) at above the 1500' base and went through above all the 3d bases until right out the other side, I wd prefer just one entry warning & 1 exit warning.

Does this make sense and can it be done?

By the way vertical nav feature was extremely helpful yesterday. Low and varying cloudbase  .. could pick my way through low ground with ease. Great.

David
