Hello SD-team!

I have noticed a strange thing with the way VRP:s are shown in the Flightplan.

If I plan a route in Estonia, Latvia or Lithuania, that goes through one or more VRP:s, those VRP:s will be correctly displayed in the FPL by their identifiers.
However if I plan a route in Finland, Sweden, Norway or Denmark, the VRP:s will be displayed in the FPL by their coordinates.

I don't know if this has anything to do with the problem, but I noticed that for some reason the font-type used in the Baltic countries differs from that used in the Scandinavian countries. On the Baltic countries map all letters in a VRP-name are capital letters, but in the Scandinavian countries only the first letter is big and the rest are small.

I'm using Win 8.1, Android 4.1.2, and SD 3.1.0.

What exactly was the question?

As of recently, we do include VRP identifiers (where they actually have identifiers) in flightplans as these are often wanted by local authorities, although this differs by country and it's possible to revert to the ICAO-compliant format where they are converted to coordinates. If there is a case where some VRPs have identifiers and yet SkyDemon isn't leaving those identifiers intact on a flightplan form please let us know specifically. I just took a look at Denmark and the VRPs there do not appear to have identifiers, so there's no way they could reasonably be included in a flightplan route field.

What I mean is,
that if I plan a simple route for example from EFHF in Finland to EETN in Estonia, and let the route  go through VRP Nokka on the EFHF CTR boundary and through VRP Muuga on the EETN CTR boundary.
On the FPL page the route will look like this  DCT 6011N02501E DCT MUUGA DCT when it should look like this DCT NOKKA DCT MUUGA DCT
To my knowledge all VRP:s in Finland have 5 letter identifiers,  but they are shown by coordinates in the FPL. Same in Estonia but they are shown by their identifier name.

You're quite right. This is a problem specifically with how we generate VRPs for our Finland chart. We will address the issue in our next AIRAC update, and thank you for bringing it to our attention.

The problem, in my earlier posting, with the VRP:s in the finnish chart has now unfortunately returned.
That is, all VRP identifiers in Finland will be shown by coordinates (instead of 5 letter id) in the FPL form.
Also all the VRP identifiers, on the finnish map, are duplicated.
All this appeared after the last chart update.

Thank you for pointing this out. It has arisen because of a change we made to the way this data is integrated into our charts. We have put another fix in place, and there should be no reason going forward why it would happen again. I apologise for the inconvenience.
