I love the new chart MEF figures in 3.0.7 Beta for Android but please make them visible at greater map scales (more zoomed out) to help with long distance planning. I Haven't had a chance to fly with this yet but have you been able to attempt to address the general slowness (when panning and zooming) and crashing (fairly frequent when flying) which has manifested itself sometime in the last few Android releases?

Please can you give us a list of the new features available in this version so we can test them out.

The version history info at http://www.skydemon.aero/news.aspx?story=79, http://www.skydemon.aero/plan/versionhistory.aspx and http://www.skydemon.aero/inflight/versionhistory.aspx never seem to get updated regularly any more which is a great shame as this info was very useful - especially the upcoming version information.

Thanks for the feedback on the MEF stuff.

There are only two items in the version history for 3.0.7, as most of the changes being made are minor bug fixes and attempts to stabilise SkyDemon for Android for those people experiencing issues with it. There is a separate thread where those things are being discussed.

Grid Maximum Elevation Figures (MEFs) are now available for display on the chart (iOS, Android, PC)

NOTAMs referencing multiple different danger/restricted areas are now individually depicted on the map (iOS, Android, PC)

Tim

just installed 2.07.25966 May 2nd 2014. Sliding in & out of the labels now works on my Asus HD7 in portrait & landscape mode. Thanx for this ;-))
FlightDetails & Plates are working fine, without lags. In case of plates even with a ~20 of plates on list display.
NOTAM & Weather sliders are different - sliding out with both works fine. Sliding in action freezes SD for about 2-5 seconds, depending on the amount of info on display. In case of NOTAM, if you hide all NOTAMS away, then next time it will slide in almost an instance. Sliding the weather button in, results in a CrashToDesktop, in case there are lots of weatherstations on display. On shorter routes it works like the NOTAM slider.

I don't see these figures. Is there an option to turn them on somewhere?

I don't see any "map layers" settings. I'm using the PC version of SD if that helps.

Hopefully they will appear on the PC when 3.0.7 for the PC is released.

Ok, after re-reading Tim's post above, I realise that "now" refers to the upcoming version 3.0.7, not the version which is current "now".
