Andy, I think this might answer your question but I've only had to time to look on my PC but I'm sure it's similar for the ipad etc .

In Setup> GPS Navigation Options> Airspace Warnings you can tick the box at the bottom that says

"Supress warnings when flying planned course"

Just checked and on the ipad go to:

Setup > Navigation Options> scroll down to 'Airspace Warnings' and tick 'suppress warnings when flying planned course'

Or, you can turn off warnings for ATZ in general, in the Planning Options. I do agree it seems a little silly to warn about the airspace you're starting in and finishing in, but another school of thought says that people should still be warned in case they're not used to flying to an airfield with an ATZ.

That's only for warning when using the Navigation software, not planning isn't it?

I don't want to turn all the warnings off for ATZs, in case I accidentally plan a flight through one without realising (unlikely, I know).

No, you can turn off ATZ warnings in the planning options (for the planning warnings) and also in the navigation options (for the navigation warnings).
