I'm afraid I have no idea. This has more to do with the way the Garmin device handles the incoming route when it receives it, than it does to do with SkyDemon itself.

I have Skydemon on both Ipad and PC.
I have just purchased a Garmin Aera 500 GPS unit and wish to upload routes planned with Skydemon onto it.
Using my PC, I have been through Setup > device connectivity options > I have a garmin device,
and managed to locate my GPS when plugged in.
I have uploaded a route, but when I view it in the Garmin, each waypoint appears as points with textual names and no infomation that links in with the Garmin.
For instance, if I plan a route EGHR (Goodwood) - MID - HOGBA - EGKB (Biggin Hill) in Skydemon and send this to my Garmin, the flightplan when opened is something like
Chichester Goodwood - MID - HOGBA - Biggin Hill, with no ICAO codes, no frequencies, no runway infomation etc, each waypoint is just a point with no further inofmation attached, I also cannot activate approaches on it, as the Garmin is taking me to "Biggin Hill" and not recognising this as EGKB (an airport).
Is there a way I can send a route to my Aera 500, which will link in with the garmin databases on the GPS?
