LFGV (Thionville-Yutz) and LFGD (Arbois), both airports situated in France have been closed in 2012 (or even 2011)!

Not sure where the info is coming from but yes I would think bets to rely on the AIP as mentioned.

But FYI -

LFGV - chart was updated Feb 2013 (After the date of the notice 27 Mai 2011) - https://www.sia.aviation-civile.gouv.fr/aip/enligne/PDF_AIPparSSection/VAC/AD/2/1309_AD-2.LFGV.pdf

LFGD - seems closed as the chart is not available

LXGV - seemsclosed as the chart is not available

     Apparently LFGV is still declared open according to the French AIP.
