Try opening the Mapping menu and clicking Waypoints then Show Aerodromes. In this window you will see a minimum runway length box, which should be left blank, and this will ensure that all airfields are displayed on the map, regardless of runway length.

Excellent Tim! I did as you instructed and all is well!

Just one thing, I planned a route that goes overhead a little microlight strip at Branscombe (S.Devon) on iPad and it shows up just fine but I just can't get it to show up on my PC no matter what the scale and the fact that I have selected to show everything in Mapping: Airspace & Waypoints and not set a minimum runway length in Set-Up: GPS Navigation Options: General

You cannot delete a cruise profile from the selection screen. You must go into the aircraft editor and do it from there.

Working fine here! Just tried on two different devices (iPad Mini and 3rd Generation).

In fact you can swipe either way, and at any speed you like.

Try this... Press and hold on one of them - it should go blue and nothing else should happen.

Now move your finger slightly to the right (less than 5 mm) and the delete button should appear.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your reply but I've tried that (loads of times) and all it does is select that profile and take me back to the Flight Details page with that profile being used!

I've tried swiping slow, fast, the whole sentence, the left-side, the right side and nothing works! Help!!

I am using the latest version os SD on my ipad and in the Flight Planning stage, when I click on Flight Details and then Pwr/Speed it comes up with my plane's profile figures but if I'm not happy with that pmrofile, I can put in New Cruise Profiles. The trouble is that I cocked up some information and just want to delete these unwanted New Cruise Profiles but how do I do that?

I tried the normal swipe to the left and nothing happens. I accidentally used one of these unwanted profiles in a submitted flight plan which gave all the wrong sort of endurance / flight time figures! Not good!

Thanks
