Can anyone tell me how to download skydemon to my HTC Desire HD, Android phone? The only things with SkyDemon in the name seem to be music. I select 'APP' every time but it just reverts to music downloads. I have even searched everything in Google Play with 'sky' in the name with no success!

I think there's a link to the Android version off the SkyDemon website (in the usual download location). It could be that it's not appearing in Play Store because it's not compatible with your device?

HTC Desire HDs never got further than Gingerbread (Android 2.3) with official releases, so it wont show up in Google Play since SkyDemon needs Honeycomb (Android 3.0) or later. There are unofficial custom (4.0+) ROMs out there (for example http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=754) but whether they are stable enough to run SyDemon is anyone's guess.

I am testing the trial version of SD. I find it really good but I have some questions concerning the differences between the PC version and the Android one (both on simulation for the moment) I hope to be able to test flying next week.

1 - The approach info window does not exist in the Android version
2- In the Android version if I open the Pilot Log, the programme crashes and coming back the route has disappeared. And the Pilot Log is really good !
2- In the Android version - always simulating a Nav - if I open a plate, also the programme crashes

I would like to know if this is related to the trial version and if not, when do you plan to improve this issues.
It would be good to give the information about the features that should not be use for the moment.

Anyway, I think I will buy the programme after trying it in the air, it is really excellent !

You don't say which device you are using. The crashes you describe are not ones which I've experienced either on the Nexus 7 or Galaxy Tab 10.1

My device is a GT P6800, Samsung GT 7.7, Android version 4.04. When I look at the videos, for coming back to the map from the pilot log screen there is a place to click in the up left corner, I do not have it in my device. I made mistakes in my post : the programme does not crash when I open the pilot log, it crashes when I try to come back to the map using the arrow of the system (left-down) as there is no place to click on the screen of the pilot log for closing the window.
Same when I open a plate, it crashes when I try to come back to the map, not when I open the plate. Sometimes it does not crash, it comes back without the route and not in the simulation mode.

Sorry for the lack of clarity ...

Unfortunately nobody else has reported this issue, so it may be something specific to your app. I am unclear what you mean by "crash". It is possible that your device's memory is so filled up with other running software that it closes SkyDemon once another app or activity (the PLOG and a PDF reader both count) is launched. So, when you press the Back button to return to SkyDemon, the device re-launches it from scratch.

Just to confirm what you wrote. I tried on my other device, a Samsung phone S2 and those problem do not appear. So the problem is related with the Samsung GT 7.7. I will make a test with another tablet, the Samsung 2 7 and I will report about how it works. The good thing is as I use the phone as a backup GPS, I will be able to see the pilot lot if necessary while flying without problem. What is strange is that the GT 7.7 has more memory than the S2...
Thanks again for your rapid and clear responses.
