I am currently in the trial period and started my first planning today. Unfortunately I couldn't set my home airport as it is a glider site. While finding a rough circle with something in it I recognized some other glider sites that are no more available (because they are closed in the meantime). I am wondering whether some sites are shown precisely and some aren't. What is the source of data as it seems to be not accurate.

I believe that gliding sites in Germany are sourced from the AIP, with supplemental additional information.

What is your home airport? I can do some investigation to determine why we may not be listing it as a waypoint.

My home airport is Meiersberg close (little bit east) to CTR Düsseldorf EDDL. Glider sites like Hilden (a bit south from Meiersberg) are already closed. Several glider sites are not usable as waypoint - there are just some information attached to that icon. Would be great, if glider sites were handled like airports, even with diffrent icon. I already saw some of them that be treated like airports in southern part of Germany...

The circles are "air sports sites" as promulgated in ENR 5.5 of the national AIP. These are actually separate from airfield waypoints that can be used for planning purposes. I have confirmed that the Hilden site you mentioned is no longer part of the AIP ENR 5.5 so we are investigating why it is still part of our data.
