There are Austrian approach plates published in the AIP for several airports such as LOAN. Looking in the AIP, I find these plates for LOAN:

LOAN Aerodrome chart
LOAN IAC - IFR approach with VFR-part
LOAN LOXN chart for VFR flights

In SD I only get the LOAN Aerodrome chart. This is not particularly useful, since it's the other two charts I really need when flying. Any reason for this? Is it me who's doing something wrong?

Thanks, -- Chris.

You're not doing anything wrong; we only integrate plates into our system when we recognise their titles are in a defined format (so we can correctly categorise them). "LOAN IAC - IFR approach with VFR-part" doesn't fit any of the standard title formats but we can change our system to recognise that it has a VFR element to it and include it in the "Other" category. Unfortunately the second document you mentioned is too large for us to be able to include at the moment, as we are limited by Eurocontrol in terms of file sizes.

It seems I was wrong; that first document is already present in our system. Just ensure you've got IFR approach plates turned on and it will appear.

Yes, I did mention that the aerodrome chart was available in SD. Unfortunately this isn't very useful when flying. It's a pity that the two approach charts are not available. They look like any other approach chart and I'm not sure why they woukd bust the size limitation. The area chart I understand. It is huge and detailled.
