since I love the program I already started adding stuff and since we can create customer data but not us it in the mobile version I exported it as Customer Waypoints. Those you should see in you Skydemon Mobile version as well.



The list is not complete but feel free to use it. Any suggestions, corrections and if if you have a list of more disused airfield or obstructions, please post it to this topic and I will add it to the file.

Thanks for posting these Norman.

In the forthcoming 1.4 version we've made it much easier to share waypoints by exposing import and export functionality, which uses GPX format to make it interoperable with most software that can export waypoints.

I do. It would be nice if you could release these in the new format produced by the 1.4 beta that makes it easy to share waypoints, with specific symbols and in a specific category (such as "UK Disused Airfields").

I suspect some care is needed here.

• Hibaldstow is used as a pra drop zone (and is shown as such on SD).
• Debach is still landable  .. nearly went there this w/e with farmer's permission
• Went into Defford last year and the Croft farm airstrip is operational. But there is also a disused field as well  .. which I nearly landed at wrongly!

Point I am making is that  in an emergency somewhere like Debach wd be very handy  .. but if categorised as disused then people might not risk it even in an emergency.

At same time, people migh not bother about possible traffic at Hibaldstow if said to be disused  .. having a canopy floating down to you from 10K is EXCEEDINGLY disconcerting!!

Yest they are interesting but cd confuse.

What do others think  .. these are just some examples I know about.

hi thanks for making those points. if there is really interest here I will go through the data again and check each airfield and also mark them in the new waypoint format.



However it will take me a little while. I post back when it is done.

I may have misunderstood your point about not using Custom Data in the mobile device.  I find I can drag the Custom Data folder into the Mobile SD and then the data is available to me.
