Hi,

I copied my aircraft files from the PC to the designated folder on the ipad with iTunes (as I'm usually doing it with my routes). Unfortunately the new files don't show up in the aircraft library on the iPad.

How can I make the files accessible for the app?

I tried already logout/in and reboot

Any suggestions?

In the end I found out that the reason for my problems is an old "*.aircraft" file from this forum: As soon as I copy teh following C172 file (http://www.skydemon.aero/forums/Attachment19.aspx) to my ipad, SD crashes at startup. No problems with all the other files from the forum.

I guess the reason is the file encoding, saying <encoding="Windows-1252"?> instead of <encoding="utf-8"?>.

Maybe a stupid question but do you have to rename the xml-files downloaded to ".aircraft" before transfering them to the iPad?

The SD web site states that it will not be available until the 2.4.1 download for iPad.
