Very nice software. Can't wait for further development. (that's why I made a mess installing the beta)

I have had the current version installed for some time on a tablet DELL XT2 XFR with no problems.

Yesterday I tried it and installing the Beta. After that I got into problem with the GPS. When I push Start GPS often the program will freeze for a while and then give the following message "There was an error while trying to open the GPS device" and next line "semaforens timeout periode er udløbet" meaning somethin like "the semafore has timed out"

I thought this was a problem only with the beta because I have not expirienced it before. I then uninstalled the beta and then installed the current version.

Sadly the problem is still there. uninstalling It seems the beta install did something bad to the GPS connection.

How do i proceed to get back to the working system I had.

The beta didn't do anything to your GPS. What's more likely is that the settings originally configured have been lost. Go into GPS setup and verify the correct COM port and baud rate have been set.

I tracked the problem to a faulty Bluetooth connection. Purchased a new bluetooth dongle and had no problem since.
