I would like to say thank's to the team to have the opportunity to use skydemon in ipad.
I have a question; if i'm not wrong i can not have a database of different aricraft configuriation so
at the time you need to change the performance items i mean you must work on one aircraft not more.
Hope this will be changed because to have different model is more easy.
Thank you

Hi
You can have as many different aircraft as you like.
Bring out the Flight Details tab, then touch where it says Default Aircraft. Now press the + button at the top right.

I am new to the iPad malarkey, how do you download the aircraft profile onto the iPad when using the iPad?

You can't - you will need to do it manually.
It only takes a couple of minutes though.

It takes a lot more than a couple of minutes if you have to make big changes to the default values!

I've found that tapping -really- fast is quicker than pressing and holding.

From what I can see you can create a lot of things in the aircraft setup/profile, BUT the one really annoying thing I have to seem to set every time I use SD (Light/Planning/iPad etc) is the default altitude and speed, is there a way to have a persistent cookie/ini/setting that can be used across the different products ?
Thanks

The speed default is set by editing the cruise profile of the aircraft definition.

It takes blooming ages to edit the default values on my 1st generation ipad. Scrolling up and down takes a ridiculous times. I would like to set a few aircraft up. It would be better instead or as well as the scroll things if you could type in a value. That would speed this up dramatically. I think it may be extra slow on an Ipad 1. It did make me wonder if it had been mostly tested on an Ipad2 which are a lot more speedy.
