When I file a flight plan, do I get some sort of confirmation that the plan has been filed - like a text or email? Apart from going back online, is there some other means that I can delay or cancel it - like calling somewhere? Also, will the FP complete fields for crossing FIR's?

thanks

You receive a copy of your flightplan by email. Cancellation or delay of the filed plan is achieved via the internet, by logging into our website. SkyDemon populates EET/ information in the route field for FIR boundaries, which is usually asked for by flightplan recipients.

Thanks Tim. If I don't have internet access wherever I am, can I delay / cancel my flightplan by calling somewhere in the UK?

Also, is there some way to distinguish on the charts, which airfields are Customs and which are not - I was thinking more of France for this?

No, we don't have someone waiting for flightplan-related calls 24/7. You could conceivably just call somebody you trust to log on to our website and delay/cancel on your behalf, though.

Our charts do not contain data on whether airfields have customs or not in France. I'm not sure the French AIP posts such information.
