Why does a VFR planning package assume that you wouldn't want to go on a little round-trip?

Most of the flying I do is A-to-A (albeit via a 2-8 hour long flight...). The Plan wizard won't let you do that, and the Mobile route editor tries VERY hard to stop you doing it. I have to pick a random airfield, insert my home airfield before it, and then delete the original destination.

We used to have an 'add' button at the end of the list. Would be rather useful to have it back... Please!

All sorted on the latest beta.

Plan creates a triangular route with the start and finish on your home airfield.

On Mobile, if you choose the same start end ending airfield, a dialog pops up asking you to now select your intermediate destinations.

To develop this idea further:

When I fly A-B-C-A, sometimes I make full stop or touch and go in intermediate points B and C.

I wonder how technically difficult it is to indicate intermediate points "B" "C" as "Landing points" so that system could add taxi/takeoff and landing fuel and time to make more precise calculation without the need to split this route in 3 legs.
