Group: Forum Members Posts: 19, Visits: 170	Hi all, I bet this has been asked a million times, but I can't find it. What data sources are used to calculate wind vectors in planning mode (UK). I can see TAFs, METARs etc in the documentation, but guess they are not good enough to calculate from. Thanks in advance Colin

Group: Forum Members Posts: 8.3K, Visits: 10K	Forecast winds aloft at all sorts of altitudes and flight levels are available from many sources. SkyDemon currently uses model data from the Global Forecast System.
