SafeSky Aero Tracker and FLARM decoding

Group: Forum Members Posts: 356, Visits: 2.5K	Tim, Just wondered if it is now possible for SkyDemon to decode FLARM data from the Aero Tracker? I am currently paying to decode FLARM from my SE2, but will cease using my SE2 when this Aero Tracker functionality starts working. Thanks Tony

I think the first batch of 100 Aero Trackers have been sold to customers. I think the next batch is due to be available this month. Is it possible for you to discuss the FLARM decoding functionality with SafeSky? It will be a very useful enhancement for those with the Aero Tracker, SkyDemon and an active SkyDemon FLARM decide subscription. Thanks

Group: Forum Members Posts: 8.1K, Visits: 9.4K	SafeSky do not make the Aero Tracker, I believe that is made by Avionix. I have heard recently that Avionix have negotiated directly with FLARM to do the decoding on the device, so there's no need for a (software) subscription to do it via SkyDemon. You'd have to ask them for further details though.
