Hi, can you please confirm that flight plans submitted for dates in the future will have the DOF/YYMMDD entry automatically added (taken from the route's departure date)? This isn't something I need to enter manually? Thanks, Neil

Hi Tim,

We've just returned from a trip to Laval, France via Deauville and Cherbough. The SkyDemon route planning worked great, thanks. The only glitch was the outbound flight plan filed via the SkyDemon PC software, from Redhill EGKR to Deauville LFRG. Redhill ATC never received it yet Deauville did. Any ideas? The SkyDemon Flightplan Management area shows "Redhill - Deauville Saint Gatien". The email confirmation details (edited for privacy) were:

No findings yet. We know of two instances where this has happened since we launched flightplan filing in SkyDemon and cannot explain why the takeoff aerodrome was not included in the address list. We know that the fault lies in the address list generation function and are now logging all such requests and responses so that if it ever happens again we will be much better placed to diagnose the cause.

Going forward, if you click the Addressing button to preview the addresses your plan will go to, it's quite easy to check that your outbound aerodrome is included in the list.
