The latest update of SkyDemon added FIS-boundaries. A great addition in my opinion
However SkyDemon shows London Information and Scottish Information as responsible FIS-units in North Sea Area V.
According to Netherlands AIP ENR 2.2.1.2 Amsterdam Information is responsible for FIS in this area.
See attached screenshot.

Is that an area you fly yourself? Looking at UK AIP ENR 6-32 and 6-33 the UK FIS sectors seem to cover the whole of the FIR.

Yes I do fly in this area myself. And London Information always tells us to change to Amsterdam Information before reaching the mentioned area.
FYI This arrangement is also mentioned in UK AIP ENR 2.2.1.2.1

On an additional note, UK has delegated airspace over the North Sea to Denmark and Norway as well.
Norway and Iceland have delegated airspace to UK. See UK AIP ENR 6-44.

Thanks, that's interesting. For the time being I think we will keep our data the way it is, which is to represent accurately the boundaries of FIS sectors as promulgated in the various AIPs without the additional complexity of altering them to represent local delegated parts. Note that our data hasn't actually changed, we are just drawing the sector boundaries on the map which we haven't done until recently.

We will keep an eye on this to see how many people are affected by this, and in slow time give thought to the procedures necessary to take account of delegated areas when it comes to FIS.
