T Group: Forum Members Posts: 153, Visits: 4.4K	I am struggling with the latest "Glider Winch Launching Symbols" as they are cluttering the map significantly while many of these launch sites are private and/or even closed and don't have any airport symbol attached like some public glider or microlight sites. Furthermore the symbol that is used for them is way too big for this purpose while it does not provide a good idea where such site is actually located. I would welcome either the possibility to disable them or use a small icon instead like any other airport on the map.

Group: Forum Members Posts: 8.1K, Visits: 9.2K	Ok, many of those in tomorrow's chart update appear as hang-gliding symbols instead of the winch cable symbology we currently use. That means that they can be hidden by disabling sporting areas, though we would not recommend it. The reason they are included is because they do winch-launching, and the cable is a hazard.

Yes, all of them are from GND up to 3000ft.
