I was idly looking at the Pilots Notes - for Luton as it happens - and a couple of clowns have posted deliberately incorrect data.
It's pretty obviously wrong in this case but this sort of malicious data could fool somebody into doing something wrong.

Can this 'joke' data be removed please.

We would only interfere in pilot notes if someone was posting deliberately misleading information.

We're aware of the humorous notes for Luton and suggest you simply take them in the spirit they were intended.

May as well take pilot's notes off entirely.  How many other ones are lying?

I wouldn't miss them either. Not too bothered by "pilots notes" as a feature though. I simply don't use it. Just as with "fuel prices"...
As long as one can't rely on them, they're no real
benefit to aviation. And sometimes the information is simply outdated. Not SD's or Tim's fault of course! If I need up to date information I'd rather call the airfield by telephone.

Just put in your own Pilot Notes, and comment frequently. If we want a community to work, we all must contribute, and not just critizise others who do.

If we all were to put in Pilot Notes now and then, the system could be as useful as the reviews in one of those travel websites. If there are many reviews, you get the drift, and get a feeling for what is really is, even with oine or two outlyers in the comments.
