Hello Tim,
This Logbook is an excellent idea. Everything in the same application ... the dream.
Some suggestions :
1) add import from another logbook (csv format)
2) it should be nice for optional columns to be able to choose unit type hour: minute or litres (for fuel) or text (for hour meter).
These informations are very usefull for microlight aircraft owner.
Congratulations for this excellent and friendly application.
Best regards.
Stéphane

I tried the new pilot log but it calculated flight time equal to PIC time which is wrong. PIC time is block to block surely.

We were mislabelling one field as "flight duration" but it should have been "total (blocks) time". Hopefully it is clearer now.

The logbook is a welcome addition. Please can consideration be given to the filtering the selected flight logs that appear in the 'Log Name' column:

1) Exclude those flown where the Location used has been a flight simulator e.g. 'Use X-Plane' selected.

2) Exclude those exceeding a selectable Maximum Altitude and / or Speed. This would enable filtering of sectors where SD has been run on commercial flights just for interest. Often there are multiple segments in these flights due to the intermittent GNSS reception on a tablet.

Feedback / suggestions on other observations so far:

An option not to log simulator flights at all.

An option not to log a particular flight.

The most recent flight does not show faded when entered.

Initial times for Type-rated aircraft cannot be entered.

Cannot delete a mis-entered registration from 'My Aircraft'.

Thank you.

A simple way would be to include a switch "send to pilot logbook" on flight logs. So you can choose which ones are in or not, and when you open a flight log there is a trace which ones have been integrated to the pilot logbook or not.

I just wanted to clarify that you all realise you don't HAVE to add any flight to your logbook? The list of flights available for adding just shows what is available, and they'll drop off that screen after 30 days anyway.

The Logbook is a nice feature, however...

We are 2 pilots using the same aircraft and the same iPad with SD installed - is there a way to introduce 2 individual logbooks?

The situation you describe isn't feasible under the normal SkyDemon license. You should both have your own SkyDemon subscription and you would therefore have your own logbooks.
