Could SD use location services when SkyEcho is selected?

I've had a problem a couple of times where my SkyEcho module goes offline and when that happens SkyDemon stops navigating.
SkyEcho going off line obviously isn't your problem but when this happens could you revert to using the location services so that SD retains some situational awareness.  Or is there a quick and easy way to switch data sources?
Some sort of obvious warning would still be needed of course.

Hope you can help,
Chris.

We generally don't like this idea because if you weren't paying attention to your device (and why should you be) you may be unaware that SkyDemon has switched data sources, and therefore unaware that you're no longer receiving traffic (etc).

Hopefully it's only four touches of the screen to switch out of navigation mode and relaunch with a different provider of navigation data?

A warning message, such as you have now, could still be shown.  I wouldn't want this with no warning at all.
