Tim will have to comment, but it’s an interesting idea that the shading could be removed if you chose to hide the NOTAM. I can see pitfalls though.

Thanks again, but instead of removing the chart emphasis when the notam is hidden, preferably when it has been read or acknowledged. An idea anyway.
